Most definitely—I love a pop of color for my brides. It’s such a timeless, refreshing way to personalize your look without losing that bridal feel.
When adding color, we always encourage brides to decide where they want that pop to live. Color can be expressed beautifully through the eyes, cheeks, or lips—each creates a very different effect.
Color is a beautiful way to bring personality into a soft bridal glam look—as long as it’s placed with purpose and blends with your overall vision.

Absolutely—as long as the color is used intentionally. For wedding day, we recommend a soft pop of color rather than a fully saturated bright shade. You can incorporate color in a few balanced, elegant ways:
Use neutral & earth-tone shades in the crease and apply your pop of color to the center of the lid for a soft, dimensional glow.
For a subtle approach, keep the eyeshadow neutral and add a playful pop of color through eyeliner. This can be a tight line for definition, or softened with a coordinating eyeshadow placed on top to soften the edges.
You can also add a gentle wash of color just above the orbital bone. Warm blush, rose, or peach tones are beautiful options that feel fresh and bridal.
Another option is a touch of color along the lower lash line paired with a neutral top liner for balanced definition.
Each of these techniques allow a bride to express personality while still feeling timeless, polished, and elegant in photos.

A subtle pop of color feels most balanced when it’s placed with intention. Often, the cheeks and lips can complement one another when they’re in the same color family, but it’s important to decide which feature will be your dominant color focus.
For example:
Soft pink or rose-toned cheeks pair beautifully with a berry or pink lip.
A coral flush on the cheeks looks stunning with a neutral lip and a soft, sheer nectar gloss for a gentle hint of color.
This approach keeps the look harmonious, flattering, and elevated—giving you a touch of personality while still feeling timeless in photos.

Personally, I’m a blush girl, and I will always advocate for a pop of color on the cheeks paired with a complementary lip. Most photo edits tend to wash out makeup, and blush is the quickest way to keep you from looking washed out.
